ABOUT THE MUSIC

Whether exploring the silence and impending darkness of a late December afternoon while composing "Rush Pond," capturing the color and festivity of a magical July evening in ' "Sunsets," or offering a personal plea to end oppression and recognize equality for all in "Freedom," each composition in AFTER THE RAIN arises from a life experience.

I was excited to return to Imaginary Road Studios to work with Will Ackerman and Tom Eaton. They offer incredible insight and expertise while providing a creative and supportive environment.

I am impressed with their dedication, treating each step of the process with love, care, and attention to detail.

As always, I have relied on wisdom and support from my wife, Lini. She has been there every step of the way, listening and advising me during the creative process and encouraging me to pursue some ideas that are
now heard on this album.

When listening to the music, please take note of our incredible session musicians who consistently offer creative and sensitive performances, interpret the meaning behind each piece and make wonderful additions to every track.

This album was a true team effort, and I am blessed to be a part of it.
